A NEW WIND TURBINE IS ABLE TO OFFER ELECTRICITY TO ONE HOUSE FOR 66 YEARS WITH ONLY ONE DAY OF PRODUCTION

Hello good afternoon…

The most powerful wind turbine in the world is called V164 and is located in the high seas area of Denmark. It measures more than 200 meters and has blades of 80 meters each. This large windmill can offer electricity to one house for 66 years.

This structure was tested at the end of January with a successful result. In its first start-up, it managed to generate 216,000 kWh in just 24 hours, something never seen in energy production.

However, their installation and development are still too costly for their complete implementation. Sea-borne systems are very expensive, but soon they will begin to develop platforms with more floating capacity to get more investment in renewable energies.

As a preventive measure, the classes of nearby schools were canceled and the population was advised not to leave their homes and close all ventilation systems.

A PARAPLEGIC STARTS WALK AGAIN THANKS TO A SOFTWARE AND SOME ELECTRODES

Researchers at the California University have succeeded in getting a paraplegic to walk a few meters thanks to technology.

This has been made possible by electrodes attached to his knees and a brain software added on a helmet, which reads brain waves and sends them through the software to the knee electrodes.

It is the first time that the brain is managed to control the mobility of any part of the body. Therefore, the objective of the researchers is to continue testing this system with more people to recover lost mobility as soon as possible.

The experts identified the genes responsible for the smell and taste of tomatoes and selected the most tasty varieties to compare the current and traditional tomatoes. The team of specialists has identified 13 molecules with the goal of introducing them into modern varieties. The results of the work will help understand the molecular and genetic content of tomatoes today.

VICTIMS OF GENDER VIOLENCE WILL RECEIVE A SMS IF THEIR AGGRESSOR LEAVES THE PRISON

In a few weeks, a new computer system will be launched that will alert police and victims of gender violence when the aggressor leaves prison, either for a permit or for other reasons, and will be notified again when he returns. This measure, announced by the Ministry of Justice two years ago, is being tested in Albacete. Once this period is finished, it will be put into operation in the rest of Spain.

Also, this computer system will be able to detect irregular behaviors of the aggressor during the phase of freedom and will automatically get the warning to those in charge of the prison.

When these actions will be able to put into operation, they will also be carried out against other convicted offenders who have not entered prison, but who are in rehabilitation treatment.
